He represented Rotary District 6860 as a member of the 2008 Group Study Exchange team to the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He joined the Rotary Club of Tuscaloosa later that year. When he moved to Texas\, he joined the Rotary Club of Canyon\, serving as president during the 2011-2012 Rotary year.
